Built to Shred

Rampage competitors have to build their own lines down the 780-foot mountain, 150 more vertical feet than the old course. With this year’s technical venue, riders have a blank canvas to work with — which should push the boundaries of the sport. This, of course, means a ton of work before the action starts.

Riders get 4 days to shape, dig, and build their path down the mountain. They only get the help of two friends and hand tools, as power tools and heavy equipment aren’t allowed. They then get 4 more days to practice riding and refining their creations before the big show.

Meet the Competitors

Here’s a list of all Red Bull Rampage 2019 competitors: Kurt Sorge (CAN), Cameron Zink (USA), Ethan Nell (USA), Brandon Semenuk (CAN), Brett Rheeder (CAN), Thomas Genon (BEL), Carson Storch (USA), Kyle Strait (USA), Tyler McCaul (USA), Tom van Steenbergen (CAN), Bienvenido Aguado Alba (ESP), Andreu Lacondeguy (ESP), Brendan Fairclough (GBR), DJ Brandt (USA), Graham Agassiz (CAN), Reece Wallace (CAN), Emil Johansson (SWE), Reed Boggs (USA), Juan Diego Salido (MEX), Szymon Godziek (POL), and Vincent Tupin (FRA).

What insane gaps, drops, and tricks will we witness this year? Tune in this Friday to see all the action live for yourself. You know we’ll be watching!
