Al Bayt Mitwahid, Ghantoot work on Ajman’s walking, cycling track – Construction Week Online

Construction work has commenced on 2,600-metre-long walking and cycling track in Ajman’s Al-Raqaib 2 area, with Al Bayt Mitwahid Association having partnered with Abu Dhabi-based construction firm Ghantoot Group and Ajman Municipality for the project.

The project is expected to be completed in Q1 2020; and has been implemented by the Al Bayt Mitwahid Association to promote a healthy lifestyle for community members in the UAE.

Commenting on the project, chairman of the board of directors of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association, HE Saif Ali Al Qubaisi, said that “creating healthy living projects and initiatives” was a major element of the association’s efforts.

Al Qubaisi added: “Moving forward with our dedicated partners we strive to bring more enhancements to Ajman and the rest of the Emirates.”

Meanwhile, head of Ghantoot Group, Ali Al Bloushi stressed on the company’s keenness in working on the “community-serving project that will positively impact the local residents”.

Speaking about Ajman Municipality’s collaboration with Ghantoot Group and Al Bayt Mitwahid Association, director of the department of agriculture and public gardens of Ajman Municipality, Ahmed Saif Al-Muhairi said: “It is highly important for the governmental and private sectors to collaborate into servicing the community. We hope to see more development projects in the future.”
