MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – Marquette Mountain is gearing up for mountain bike season. Work is going on behind the scenes to get the trails ready for summer.

Recently crews held a work bee to repair damage from washouts this past winter and spring. The mountain has plenty of challenging trails for advanced and expert riders. Now, they’re working on trails for beginners.

They’ll also offer a shuttle service that will take riders to the top of the mountain.

“Two things that we really like about summer offerings are one, we’ve got a beautiful lodge here and tons of space, lots of acreage to play and we really want to utilize that as much as possible and the second thing is, it helps us with is keeping some of our key staff that are employed through the winter time here during the summer as well,” said Marquette Mountain General Manager, Andrew Farron.

More information will be made available once everything is set for biking season at the mountain. You can find more information in the related links section on this page.
