Cyclocross fans enjoyed a U23 Women’s race that surpassed the Elite Women’s race for late-race excitement.

At the 2019 UCI Cyclocross World Championships in Bogense, Denmark, the powerful Dutch squad dominated the U23 Women’s podium.

As many as thirteen racers went into the last lap with a chance at the podium.

The final fireworks didn’t go off until the finishing straight, with Inge van der Heijden sprinting past Ceylin Camen del Alvarado to take the rainbow stripes.
