The ‘Cross Cup Runneth Over at Saturday’s Sun Prairie Cup in Wisconsin – Cyclocross Magazine

The 2019 Wisconsin CX Series p/b Trek continues this Saturday, November 9 with the long-running Sun Prairie Cup at Sheehan Park.

The Sun Prairie Cup has been a decade-plus staple on the Wisconsin cyclocross calendar hosted by the Brazen Dropouts cycling team. With its hilly, off-cambery, challenging course, ’location close to Madison and famed hill that allows spectators to see nearly the entire course, the Sun Prairie Cup offers something for everyone.

The Sheehan Park hill has long been a challenging feature and popular spectating spot.

Saturday’s race schedule follows the 2019 Wisconsin CX daily schedule and there is also a free Kids Race at 11:15 a.m.

The Nitty Gritty of Sun Prairie will be grilling up brats and burgers and as always, the Sheehan Park hill will be the epicenter of the race’s party.

Pre-registration for the 2019 Sun Prairie Cup is open through midnight CST on Wednesday, November 6. Pre-registration saves you $10 and reserves a call-up position, so sign up today.
